Great beach and sea, poor food

The territory is green and shady, with pine trees and the sound of cicadas all day long. There’s a small shop with water and souvenirs.
Rooms are not brand new but in decent condition, clean bedding, an old air conditioner, and shower gel/shampoo are provided.

What I liked most — the beach and sea are amazing!
(This was the sixth hotel I’ve personally visited on Halkidiki.)
There are always enough sunbeds, spaced far apart, and the beach is long.
The entrance to the sea is gradual with fine pebbles and beautiful turquoise water.
Beach towels require a 20 EUR deposit.

There’s a beach bar with drinks (Coke = 3 EUR), fast food, and tasty salads (tuna salad = 9 EUR).

What I didn’t like — the organization of dining in the main restaurant: seating is like in a fine dining restaurant, but very slow — many empty tables while guests wait in line. Asking for a table by the window for three may be ignored.
One dish was truly surprising — stewed lungs for dinner, I’ve never seen that before 😄.
Drinks at dinner are extra, but prices are reasonable.
There’s also a tavern open for lunch and dinner, prices are a bit higher than in town.

Guests: mainly Polish, German, Serbian, Czech, and Greek.

Details:

1. The hotel is on a hill with great views. To get to the beach:
   – stairs (shady, through pine trees)
   – sloping path (also shady)
   – funicular (sometimes with queues)

2. Nowhere to walk outside on foot. Better to have a car: we drove to Kallithea in the evening for a walk.
